Nova Scotia Occupation in-Demand List 2019.

The occupations listed below are classified with National Occupations Classification (NOC). The NOC is code helps to determine a candidate’s skill level created for a skilled, semi-skilled occupations. For applying in demanding occupation a candidate must have one year of work experience.

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program’s had prioritized French-speaking Express Entry candidates in a new invitation round dated 20 March 2019.Candidates invited to apply for a provincial nomination through the Nova Scotia were required to have French selected as their first official language and demonstrate a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 or high in all French language abilities.Following is the requirement to meet the following criteria:

Need to have English as a second official language with a Canadian Language Benchmark score of 5 or higher in English.
Bachelor’s degree OR have completed a program of three or more years at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute; and
Must have submitted an expression of interest to the Express Entry pool on or after September 20, 2018.

If nominated, candidates will obtain an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points and effectively move to the front of the line for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in a subsequent Express Entry draw.

Candidates who have been issued a Letter of Interest by the NSOI must complete the online application and provide all the required information and attachments before the invitation expires. Letters of Interest remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance of the invitation.
