Invitation Issued by Ontario 1,773 Express Entry candidates having tech experience with CRS scores 435

Ontario issued 1,773 invitations to Express Entry candidates Tech Draw held Thursday, August 1 with work experience in one of six tech occupations and Comprehensive Ranking System scores as low as 435.

It was Ontario’s second Tech Draw since Launching in early July  total of 3,396 Express Entry candidates have now received invitations.

Ontario is hub to several of Canada’s major tech hubs, notably those in the cities of Toronto, Ottawa and Waterloo, and Tech Draws are has introduced to meet growing labour needs.

According to CBRE Scoring Tech Talent Report a total of 80,000 Jobs have been created in Ontario capital itself.

Tech Draws allow Ontario to search the federal Express Entry pool and invite eligible candidates to apply for provincial nomination.
